Dominic Muller

Sgt. Dominic Muller serves his country through music as a U.S. Marine trumpeter of the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa Band. In addition to an accomplished trumpeter, Dominic is also a skilled pianist and composer.

A graduate of the Naval School of Music in Virginia Beach, Dominic Muller earned his Bachelor's of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of Arizona School of Music in Tucson, where he studied and performed with Ed Reid, Jason Carder, Ryan Darke, Kenny Rampton, Kenny Smukal, among others.

Sgt. Muller has performed across the country, from coast-to-coast, and has been invited as a participant in preeminent jazz festivals including the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Lincoln-Center Essentially-Ellington Jazz Festival.

His musical compositions vary in style, from calm and meditative to upbeat pieces, combining elements of Jazz, Classical, East-Asian, and Electronic genres of music. His original compositions have been performed by himself and others around the United States.

Having been raised as a musician through the Catholic church, Dominic has served for a number of years as an instrumental performer, music/choir director, and cantor in many parishes in Arizona and Virginia. Dominic Muller currently lives with his wife in Italy, while serving as a United States Marine in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa Band.
